Not your average pedometer
Walking is the game.
Your city is the board.
Step counters are boring. Kulay is not. Every walk you take can be yours — painted in your colour, visible to everyone. Every day you skip, it fades a little. The city keeps moving whether you do or not. Better keep up.
Here’s the simple bit
Walk a loop.
Paint the block.
Open the app. Start walking. Watch your trail appear behind you in real time. Loop back to where you started — and the whole block floods with your colour. Bigger loop? More turf. It’s really that satisfying.
Every step earns you ink. Ink turns into claimed blocks. Walk daily and your ink pile grows. Sit still and it doesn’t. Neither does your territory.
Paint it your way
Switch colours.
Mix patterns. Mid-walk.
Pick a colour and a pattern before you head out — or change either one on a whim while you’re moving. Each loop you close fills in whatever combination you’re running with right now. Go coral chevrons one morning, violet polka dots the next.
Mix and match across territories. Go back and repaint an old block in a fresh pattern — stripe it, dot it, swirl it. The city is your canvas. You’ve got the whole palette.
Your turf. Your texture.
Stripes today.
Snowflakes in December.
Pick a pattern the same way you pick a colour — right before you walk, or right in the middle of one. Every territory you claim gets its own texture.
Free
Solid fills, stripes, dots, diamonds, chevrons. Yours from day one.
Premium
Colour swirls, gradient washes, crosshatch, double-stripe — and everything we add next.
Seasonal
Snowflakes unlock in winter. Flowers in spring. Maple leaves for Canadian walkers in October. They come and go — use them while you can.
Topographic
Gradients that shift based on the real elevation of the ground beneath your tiles. Higher ground, deeper shade.
The spicy part
Gone for a week?
Your turf shows it.
Claimed blocks don’t last forever. Leave them alone and they start fading — first a little orange, then gone. Walk back through and they bounce right back. But you have to actually go. The city doesn’t pause for you.
Don’t worry — we’ll nudge you before things get bad. But if you ignore us long enough, someone else will gladly take what you built.
- Walk daily to keep your blocks strong
- Loop new areas to grow your territory
- Orange blocks are fading — go reclaim them
- Rival walkers can take your weakest turf
Strength in numbers
Bring your friends.
Rule the block.
Grab some friends and start a crew. You all share one colour — every walk any of you takes adds to the pile. Need backup? Send a rally. Your crew gets the ping. Then everyone goes for a walk.
The neighbourhoods that matter will belong to crews that show up every day. Walking is the only cheat code.
Every walk counts
Your history.
In ink and kilometres.
Every walk you’ve ever done is right there — how long, how far, how many new hexes you grabbed. It’s a record of every time you chose to go outside. Turns out that’s a pretty satisfying thing to scroll through.
Know your neighbours
Tap any block.
See who owns it.
Those other coloured blocks on the map? Tap one. You’ll see whose it is, how strong their hold is, and whether it’s worth contesting. Strategy starts with knowing what you’re up against.
Right now, someone is painting your street.
You won’t know which colour until you’re in.
